The 19th-20th of May you can join us on a longer kayaking trip from Årdal to Solvorn. We start by the Sognefjord in the valley of Indre Ofredal and paddle the Årdalsfjord and continue on the Lustrafjord. We stay the night in a lavvo tent, cook together in the outdoors and enjoy the magnificent scenery and wildlife of this area.
DAY 1:
• Meet up, preperation for kayaking
• Kayaking for 2 hours
• Lunch
• Kayaking to camp 1, setting camp, dinnertime
DAY 2:
• Breakfast and packing up the camp - leave no trace
• Kayaking to Solvorn
• Lunch
• RIB-transportation back to Årdal

We stay the night in a lavvo tent, cook together in the outdoors and enjoy the magnificent scenery and wildlife of this area.
Experience from kayaking is an advantage - but not a requirement. A day trip has a duration of 3-4 hours - and if you are insecure whether this will be too demanding or not, you can join in on a introduction course the day before this trip starts.
About the kayaking adventure:
The trip requires that we kayak for two days to get from Årdal to Solvorn. How long it takes will depend on the wind- and weather conditions. Our main focus is the experience of nature, and you are supposed to enjoy taking part on this trip. We are here to guide you and give you tips on you paddling technique.
Our goal is to reach Solvorn and the Walaker Hotel on day 2. At Walaker Hotel we will enjoy a 2 course-lunch at an additional cost of NOK 375,- per person.
The Lustrafjord is one of the longest arms of the Sognefjord, so we return to Årdal in a RIB-boat on the afternoon of day 2. RIB-safari is fun and exciting - and an interesting contrast to a kayak that makes little or no sound. The price for the RIB-transportation from Solvorn to Indre Ofredalen is NOK 400,- per person.
We will send you a list of what to bring after you sign up. You will need a sleeping bag.
PRICE: NOK 1900,- per person. This includes one night stay in a lavvo tent, fuel for making food, two guides, guiding and rental of all the equipment needed to for the kayaking. Lunch at Walaker Hotel and the RIB-transportation comes at an additional cost.

We will send you a list of what to bring before arrival, but one of the things required is a sleeping bag for the overnight stay in the lavvo tent.
Cancellation no later than one week prior to the startingday of the trip, or you will be charged for the whole trip.
